AI subtitles and styled captions
Make recorded speech readable with subtitle files or captions burned into a video.
Choose text and presentation
Subtitles mode offers original, translated and bilingual text. Choose Classic, spoken-word highlighting, progressive words or bold phrases, with the controls shown for your selection.
Choose your output
- Conventional SRT for broad compatibility.
- Styled WebVTT for compatible players; player support affects appearance.
- An MP4 with burned-in captions for a consistent visible style.
- Soft captions use Classic and depend on the player's subtitle support. Animated styles require subtitle files only or burned-in video.
Timing and readability
Translated or reworded text may use approximate word timing. Review caption speed, position and contrast. A completed job can retain reading warnings and require human review.
Already have a subtitle file?
Use Captions to translate SRT or VTT while preserving their structure. Its manual offset shifts existing timing; it does not align captions automatically to audio.
Questions and answers
Will my SRT contain the animation?
No. SRT remains conventional text and timing. Use burned-in MP4 for the animated appearance, or styled VTT with a compatible player.
