D-UB GUIDE
How to prepare and finish a video
Prepare a source you want to translate and review the finished copy after processing.
Reviewed
Before you start
- Use a permitted video and licensed music and logo assets.
- Decide which part of the source you want to keep.
- Finishing is separate from the original video processing output.
Use the editor
- Add the video in Studio and open the offered source editor.
- Use the timeline to review the source and adjust the cut. Add a logo where appropriate.
- Review music and speed choices and preview the source. Continue with the prepared source, or use Save video for an independent edited export.
- If continuing to Dub, Voice Clone or Subtitles, configure that operation and approve its separate quote.
- After processing, review the original output and any separate editor finished copy, then download the version you need.
Expected result
The prepared source enters the selected Studio workflow. Applied finishing creates a separate output, preserving the original processing delivery. Check voices remain audible over music and inspect captions after speed changes.
Troubleshooting
Wait for editor preparation or finishing to complete. A finishing error does not mean you should automatically rerun paid dubbing. Review the editor status and contact support with the project reference.
Questions and answers
Will music overwrite the original delivered dub?
No. Finishing produces a separate copy. Review both outputs before choosing the one to distribute.
